I asked Guy Kostrey to put together a day-in-the-life DVD for a bad faith case against an accident benefit insurer. Working on a tight timeline, he produced a professional and moving DVD. He even elicited some helpful evidence from the family that they had not told me. Shortly after receiving the DVD, the defence initiated settlement talks. I believe that the Kostrey day-in-the-life was an instrumental part in obtaining a very favourable settlement for my client.

I have had the good fortune to have Guy Kostrey work on a number of projects for me. I first met him when we were prosecuting the Walkerton Class action . We hired him to put together a number of day in the life videos to capture the tragedy that befell the residents of that community and the impact that the diseased water had on their lives. He captured the essence of their plight in a very compelling and moving way. His videos provided an additional valuable tool for us to help maximize the recovery that the residents so richly deserved. On another occasion we were engaged in a no fault battle with an insurer on behalf of a client who was receiving no care although he was desperately in need of help. He took a dramatic change for the worse and was given hours to live. I immediately contacted Guy who dropped everything and got to the hospital in another city within hours. He was able to capture the death bed tragedy of the client going through the pain of his final hours in the presence of his loving wife. He died later that evening.That raw footage as you may well imagine resulted in a very favourable resolution for his widow. There have been other occasions where I have had to engage Guy and on those occasions as well he responded promptly and professionally.
